Welcome to Historical Re-Creations!
Historical Re-Creations emerged from Gordy's Mills, a business that developed
out of love for old, water-powered mills, showing views that few other artists considered because of the difference in operations of waterwheel powered mills.
The artist, Gordon Callison, discovered his unique ability to represent sites in a bird's eye view
and began to include aspects of daily life in colonial and other historical eras to his drawings. The scope of Gordon's re-creations include many historic sites, mills, villages, homes and farms in Maryland and neighboring states. Please
