SPOOM is the Society for the Preservation of Old Mills. It's mission is to promote interest in old mills and other Americana.
It's members include mill owners, museum curators, old mill buffs, teachers, writers, artists, conservators, etc. Membership is open to anyone that shares an interest in old mills.

TIMS is The International Molinological Society. It fosters worldwide interest and understanding of wind, water and animal driven mills. The society encourages research and promotes all aspects
of molinology (the study of mills) with national mill societies, organizations and regional governments. TIMS is especially interested in the powering devices of mills. Plenty of links to other mill sites!
